Whistlers Bend County Park is absolutely stunning and is an amazing place to camp with friends and family. Many pilots bring their significant other, their kids, and even their parents to WCT every year! The Throwdown is without a doubt one of the coolest family-oriented FPV events in the world. There is so much to do for pilots and pilots' guests all weekend long!
There are showers and flush bathrooms near both main camping areas of the park and fire rings dispersed throughout for personal campfires.
All camping options are from Thursday afternoon to Monday morning.
Here are some details to help you choose your perfect camping spot:
Staying in PAID Non-Hookup Campsite - These sites can fit 3-4 tents or a small camp trailer and a couple tents, with a max occupancy of 10. If you are staying in one that someone else has already paid for, then please choose this option.
Staying in PAID Full-Hookup Campsite - These sites can fit an RV with a couple of tents or a small camp trailer, with a max occupancy of 10. If you are staying in one that someone else has already paid for, then please choose this option.
Physical spots in Group Camp areas are first-arrive-first-stay.
Group Camp B - This area is the very first camping you'll see after you enter the park and is the largest of the Group Camp areas. Because of its size there is a bit more variety depending what part of the area you stay in. You can either camp right by the stage or you can camp on the far side away from it. It is nice and close to the main field and race track. There are several personal fire rings dispersed throughout.

Group Camp C - This small area will be mostly used up for Admin purposes and fun activities, but there will be some room for campers too.

Non-Hookup Camp Sites #1-16 - Non-Hookup Camp Sites #1-16 - These campsites will likely be the most relaxing and quite place to camp. You'll be comfortably detached from the main festival atmosphere with a beautiful view right on the river. You will also be near the Quadfellas Open FPV Field.
There are showers and flush bathrooms up a very short path.
Each non-hookup campsite has its own fire pit for personal campfires and includes one paid parking pass.
These sites can fit 3-4 tents or a small camp trailer and a couple tents, with a max occupancy of 10.
Non-Hookup Camp Sites #24-49 - These spots are located within "The FPV Village", which is near all the main action, but detached just enough to have a place to relax away from the excitement when needed. Plus, there are showers and flush bathrooms. Don't be surprised to find other fun activities going on within the Village throughout the event.
Each non-hookup campsite has its own fire pit for personal campfires and includes one paid parking pass.

Full-Hookup Camp Sites #36-46 - These spots are located within "The FPV Village", which is near all the main action, but detached just enough to have a place to relax away from the excitement when needed. Plus, there are showers and flush bathrooms. Don't be surprised to find other fun activities going on within the Village throughout the event.
Each full-hookup campsite has full electrical and sewer hook-ups for RV's, room for a couple of tents, along with its own fire pit for personal campfires, and comes with one paid parking pass for a vehicle besides the RV.
